This Black Friday in Lefrik is Coral Friday.
In 2023, following our constant fight against massive consumption, we ally with The Coral Planters for our Mid Season Sale.
From November 7th to November 22th, we offered a 20+5% off in a selection of products. This means a 20% discount, and another 5% of each purchase from this period to The Coral Planters.
Thanks to all the support received, we have managed to raise a total of 1.584,95€ for them, helping their work with the restoration and creation of coral reefs.
About The Coral Planters
According to IPCC report, a rise of 1,5ºC would lead to the disappearance of 70 to 90% of corals. With the urgency of the situation, The Coral Planters is working to restore coral reefs by combining its actions with the use of innovative technologies.
They create artificial reefs to maintain and preserve marine biodiversity. In addition to their rapid and effective actions, the collaborate with scientists, engineers and experts to develop our restoration techniques and gather as much information as possible .
Coral reefs are home to over 25% of all marine life making them one of the most diverse ecosystem on Earth.
Coral extinctions would lead to catastrophic consequences from an enviromental, economic and social aspect.
The Coral Planters is looking for motivated people to adopt a coral reef. From 10€ you can contribute to their action and have an impact on the restoration of coral.
