Lefrik is a company led by women and today, to mark International Women's Day, we would like to share some inspiring female references for the members of our team.
Lefrik x Kilian Jornet Foundation
Last February, as part of the "1% for the Planet" donations we make throughout the year, we began to collaborate with a new partner, The Kilian Jornet Foundation.
Kilian Jornet is a Catalan professional sky running, trail running, ski mountaineering, long distance running and mountaineering athlete, known as the most complete mountain athlete.
Throughout his career, Kilian has become a committed environmental activist, contributing with the Kilian Jornet Foundation to protect and preserve mountain environments.
In 2020, Kilian created this Foundation, as he firmly believes that the protection and preservation of mountain environments is crucial for the well-being of the planet. Like Kilian, it is important that we all work as a team and develop individual awareness to preserve our mountains and their environment.
The main mission of the Kilian Jornet Foundation is the preservation of mountains and their environment. Developing projects and programs related to climate change, land use, preservation of the biodiversity, use of natural resources, environmental education, research and conservation.
We will be supporting them with a monetary donation for their 'Restore The Trails' project focused on the restoration of trails and degraded areas for the preservation of the environment and its ecosystems.
In addition, Lefrik products are being donated for the team to use in their outdoor activites.
